Raja Yoga Immersion
Monday, March 25th, 2024 -- 6pm to 9pm
Exploring the 8 Limbs of Raja Yoga. This three hour practice will highlight foundational philosophy that underlies yoga practice, how asana (yoga poses) fit into a bigger picture of self-regulation and meditation, and honing a more conscious relationship to the mind. The great sages that brought together this beautiful lifestyle practice did so in order to help people remember their supremacy over the volatile ocean of "mind." Beyond the flux of our busy brains, our identity, the roles we take on is a deep, resounding peace that illuminates a more clear vision of who we are.

Join us for a complete practice of the 8 limbs of yoga! Be prepared to practice poses, breathing, sitting, and watching your inner experience. Props and modifications will be available for this inclusive, all-levels experience.

Weekly Community Classes
Sundays
9am: Level 1/2 -- A well-rounded class that includes kriya, vinyasa, asana, mudra or pranayama.
11am: Gentle Therapeutics -- Gentle practice weaves together exercises that stabilize and strengthen the body, stretching to help ease the daily tension of life.
Tuesdays
6pm: Stiff & Sturdy -- Tension headaches? Hips and back so sore it keeps you from getting a good night's sleep? Chronically tight forearms, shoulders, neck? I feel ya! I am so excited to share a practice for the not-necessarily-into-yoga people out there that just need some relief from bodies that are constantly working too hard! Let's just breathe, relax, and get a little natural high off of releasing tension from the body, shall we?
